Delicia writes Suspense featuring smart characters who think on their feet with their heart. It can be safely said her characters never fall for the age-old trope of investigating mysterious noises in the dark without proper back-up.
Before she started writing, she obtained a graduate degree in industrial-organizational psychology from a research university in the Midwest. As a practitioner, she dives into people analytics and workplace psychology. Going against the grain, she loves statistics but she won’t bore you with details.
Having lived in five countries throughout her life and done her fair share of traveling, Delicia has an anecdote to share on most occasions. She has a passion for discovery and is interested in the human psyche. She’s been fascinated with red herrings since reading her first mystery story. These interests fuel her writing.
When she isn’t working, she can be found with a book from her eclectic reading list consisting of forty titles at any given time. Delicia is a classically-trained pianist, amateur calligraphist, and graphite, watercolor and acrylic artist. Her first art showcase was in the spring of 2015.
At the end of a long day filled with numbers and typing suspenseful exploits, you’d be able to find this extroverted introvert engaging in one of her hobbies armed with a large cup of tea.
